PHOTO: Mills Pond Kids Make Quilt for Women, Children in Shelters
The money to make the quilt came from a grant the kids' teacher won.
With grant money won by teacher Diana Lanze, her fourth-grade class at Mills Pond Elementary purchased quilt material to make a quilt that will be sent to a shelter for women and children. Here's a photo of the students at work.
