First and fourth graders at Smithtown Elementary perform puppet shows representing the seven habits of healthy kids.
In an effort to learn about the seven habits of happy kids, students from a first and fourth grade class at have put on a series of puppet shows displaying each habit.
According to theleaderinme.org, the seven habits are be proactive, begin with the end in mind, put first things first, think win-win, seek first to understand, then to be understood, synergize and sharpen the saw.
The Smithtown Elementary Book Buddies performed character education exercizes by designing the sock puppets and then performing skits in the puppet theatre.
