PHOTO: St. James Leadership Kids Create MLK Inspired 'Peace Doves'
The students also added words describing them as peaceful problem solvers to their creations.
The St. James Elementary Leadership Club got creative after studying about Martin Luther King’s nonviolent way to solve problems by creating "peace doves." In addition to the peace doves the students also wrote down words that adequately describe who they are as problem solvers, such as helpful, listener, cooperate, compromise and smile.
