Heroin Possession Arrest Made at Hotel Early Saturday Morning

A man was arrested at a Smithtown hotel after police responded to a call where a woman was allegedly held in the hotel against her will.

Suffolk County Police made a heroin possession arrest early Saturday morning after responding to a call of a woman being held in a hotel room against her will.

According to police, officers were called to the Americas Best Value Inn, located at 755 Smithtown Bypass in Smithtown when a call came in at 12:15 a.m. of a woman being held against her will.

Police would later arrest Jose Andino, 32, of Central Islip, at 1:26 a.m. on a seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance charge for allegedly being illegally in possession of heroin.

Andino was issued a desk appearance ticket.
