Question of the Day: What Are Your Thoughts on the Property Tax Cap?
State legislature approved a tax cap that limits tax raises to two percent from year-to-year.
A two-percent property tax cap on property taxes was passed by the New York State Senate Friday. The law will take effect in the 2012 fiscal year for local government, and the 2012-2013 school year for the Smithtown Central School District.
