Superintendent Edward Ehmann of the Smithtown Central School District will retire at the end of the 2012 school year – what characteristics are you looking for in his replacement?
While the Board of Education battles bus referendum backlash, budget questions, contract negotiations and more, the search for a new superintendent is also an important issue to tackle. The board must find a replacement for current superintendent of the district Edward Ehmann, who is set to retire at the end of the 2012 school year.
