UPDATE: Report – Sixth Avenue Electronics Selling Stake to Pay Debt

Electronics chain Sixth Avenue Electronics is selling a 33 percent stake to pay down debt, according to a TWICE report.

An unnamed investor has become a non-operating partner in Sixth Avenue Electronics after purchasing a 33 percent stake in the business to help pay down outstanding debt, according to a TWICE report.

According to the report, brothers Billy and Mike Temiz, senior management of the chain, will remain.

Word of the sale came after the chain closed its eleventh store on Saturday in Commack, now leaving the chain with nine locations, with only three left on Long Island.
