Road Closures Coming To Town Of Smithtown For Snow Removal
See when and where roads in your area will be closed for the safety of the Smithtown Highway Department as it removes snow.

TOWN OF SMITHTOWN, NY — Snow removal is an inevitability when a winter storm dumps a 20-inch white blanket onto the community.
The Town of Smithtown Highway Department is set to begin its snow removal operations on Monday night, and road closures will be in place for the business districts of Saint James, Kings Park, and Smithtown, according to a Facebook announcement.
"These operations will require significant road closures in order to allow the Highway Department to work safely," the department wrote. "The Road Closures will be as follows; Please avoid the areas during the times indicated."

- Saint James: Monday from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Tuesday between Lake Avenue from Woodlawn Avenue to Moriches Road.
- Smithtown: Tuesday from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday between Main Street from Route 111 to Edgewood Avenue.
- Kings Park: Wednesday from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. Thursday between Main Street from The Boulevard to Park Avenue, and Indian Head Road from Meadow Road to Old Dock Road.
