Route 347 Dunkin Donuts Closes For Renovations

Residents in search of the early morning coffee fix on Route 347 could find themselves driving further than expected. 

Dunkin Donuts/Baskin-Robins, located at at 560 Smithtown Bypass, has temporarily closed for renovations. Brown paper has been taped over the windows as construction workers are busy at work inside. 

A building permit from the Town of Smithtown states Dunkin Donuts will be renovating the 1,445-square-foot first floor business area, including plumbing and electrical work, and renovating the basement storage area. 

There are no signs posted as to when Dunkin Donuts plans to re-open, but the town's permits expire in September 2014.
