- Calling out all happy campers! Newsday provides a list of campsites in both Nassau and Suffolk where you can spend your days hiking, sightseeing, and your nights sleeping under the stars. (Subscription: Newsday)
- The 35-foot pontoon party boat, Paddle Pub, which launched last year in Patchogue, is expanding to Huntington Harbor. Paddle Pub owner Zak Seghrouchni said they do 9 a.m. tours to sunset tours. The boat can be rented out for private parties, or join a mixer, which is open to the public. Each trip is two hours and all on board must be 21 and over. BYOB! - Now you can catch a cup of "joe" before boarding your plane at MacArthur Airport. Dunkin Donuts took over the former Fridays location. According to an article in Newsday, the space had been vacant for two years and the coffee chain will occupy a 1,000-square-foot space. (LongIsland.com)
