1. Smithtown Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Angel, an 8-to-9-year-old female blue-nosed pit, was named the Smithtown Animal Shelter's Pet of the Week. Angel has been a resident of the animal shelter for over three years. "She is an extremely goofy and smart gal who loves spending time with people," the shelter wrote.
