2. Brentwood - A man shot one man and injured another during a fight Friday inside a house where multiple children were present. Police said, “The bullet exited the victim’s wrist and struck another man in the left arm,” The shooter fled the scene. The victims were taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not life-threatening. (Patabook)
3. In Deer Park on Thursday, an 85-year-old mother was stabbed to death by her son's ex-girlfriend, who then stabbed her boyfriend, Suffolk police said. The attack took place at Mare Mille's home on Smith Street, she was attacked by Shaquela Titley, 30, of Deer Park. Titley was arrested and is scheduled to be arraigned on second-degree murder charges. (Newsday)
