  1. Looking for summer or seasonal work? According to a news release, there are jobs for a certified lifeguard, park attendant, or summer camp instructor, as well as work for the public safety, municipal services facility, highways, and the parks departments.   2. Don't know what to do with your winnings from Jake's 58 Casino? Well now you can donate your winnings to help Ukraine. Suffolk County and Northwell Health are announcing the initiative to help the hospitals under siege in Ukraine. Tony Pancella, president and CEO of Suffolk County OTB, said the money will help supply funds to purchase much needed medical supplies to the country. (News 12 Brooklyn)
  3. Today, from 5 to 9 p.m. the Blue Point Brewery is pairing up with a group of Patchogue restaurants to host "Taste of Patchogue for Ukraine." Proceeds from the night will go to World Central Kitchen which is helping feed refuges from Ukraine. Tickets are $45 per person and will include unlimited food samplings from Patchogue restaurants, beer specials, music and entertainment. (Patch)
  4. Paws of War is volunteering at two separate borders in Romania and Poland to help people with their pets by supplying them with food, crates and blankets for future travels. Paws of War is asking people for monetary donations to buy pet supplies in Poland and Romania instead of sending supplies from the United States, which is more expensive. (News 12 Brooklyn)
  5. Lauren Pazienza, 26, a Long Island events coordinator, has turned herself into police for the death of an 86-year-old vocal coach, Barbara Maier Gustern. On March 10, Gustern was shoved from behind and she hit her head on the sidewalk during the attack. Gustern died five days later, the NYPD said. (Subscription: Newsday)
