  1. Smithtown Town Hall renovations were completed on Friday. New amenities include interior and exterior repairs, improved handicap accessibility, and made major infrastructure and traffic safety improvements to portions of the parking lot.   4. Business is booming in Hauppauge! Gong Cha Tea purchased an industrial property in Hauppauge for $6.25 million. Gong Cha Tea, an international bubble tea franchiser, has more than 1,300 locations worldwide. The Company acquired the 31,000-square-foot building on 1.77 acres at 25 Power Drive where it will expand and relocate from leased space at 206 Terminal Drive in Plainview.   5. The operation, dubbed ā€œLong Island Wave,ā€ took suspects off the streets who were wanted for crimes that also included attempted murder, robbery and weapon possession, according to law enforcement officials. They said among those arrested were members of the Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings and MS-13 gangs. (Subscription: Newsday)
