- The Smithtown Planning Board approved a recommendation for a zoning change for a 98-unit rental apartment complex in Commack. The developer proposes a three-story, 40-foot building with one and two-bedroom apartments for renters 55 and older. (Subscription: Newsday)
- Citing the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and financial strain inflation is putting on students and their families, the Suffolk County Community Collegeās Board of Trustees voted unanimously to freeze tuition at Suffolk Community College for the third consecutive year. (News 12 Bronx)
- Police said, on March 19, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a man stole $220 from the Islandia Dunkin' Donuts located at 1966 Veterans Memorial Highway. The police released a photo of the man they suspect committed the crime. (News 12 Bronx)
