Carol Anne Faulhaber, 71, of Ronkonkoma, died on Saturday around 2 p.m. after her 2016 Honda CR-V was hit head-on by a 2015 Jeep, police reported. 62-year-old woman driving the Jeep was going west on Hauppauge Road when she turned left onto Terry Road and collided with Faulhaber's Honda. Both driver and passenger in the Jeep were treated for injuries that were not life-threatening. (Daily Voice)
  2. The Ward Melville Heritage Organization (WMHO)’s Summer of Science is back this summer at the Edwin Ernst Marine Conservation Center at West Meadow in Stony Brook. They feature open-air outdoor programs with hands-on explorations of our environment, plants and animals along the Long Island shore. There are programs for all ages, starting at age 6, Depending on the program, cost per child is $275 to $325; register your child, and to learn more about the WMHO, call 631-751-2244.
