Smithtown East Bulls Bring Down Hills West, 20-13

Smithtown East varsity football came home victorious on Saturday, claiming victory over Half Hollow Hills West in Suffolk's Division II. 

The East Bulls brought down Hills in a close 20-13 victory on Saturday to bring their league record up to 2-2, Newsday reports. 

Quarterback John Daniggelis connected with Lucas Hoffman for a 24-yard touchdown late in the third quarter that put Smithtown East ahead 17 - 7. Daniggelis was 9-for-15 on Saturday for a total of 125 yards and two touchdowns. 

Smithtown East will host West Babylon, 1-3, for their homecoming game this Saturday at 2 p.m. A parade will take place at 12:30 p.m.
