1. Save the date for the Spring Village Craft Fair at Smithtown Historical Society on Sunday, April 30! Lots of crafts, home décor, jewelry and more will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vendors are being accepted. (Smithtown Historical Society via Social Media)
2. Four people were arrested in various local businesses in Smithtown in connection with selling cigarettes to customers under 21. Suffolk police initiated the raid after residents complained about the issue. Among the establishments is Hookah City in Lake Grove, St. James Gas Inc, Mr. Vape Smoke Shop and Evolve Smoke Shop, in Kings Park. (Smithtown Matters)
3. For those who missed the Kings Park St. Patrick's Parade, another great one is scheduled in St. James! The event begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 11. The parade starts at Woodland Avenue in St. James. Visit here for more info. (Town of Smithtown)
4. Attention job searchers in the neighborhood, the Town of Smithtown is hiring! There is a part-time office assistant position. • The Catholic Health Services Community Outreach Bus will be parked at the Smithtown Public Library- Kings Park building on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All are welcome to stop by to have free glucose screenings, cholesterol checks, and other tests.
