Smithtown Holds Pride Picnic At Hoyt Farm
More than 200 residents attended the picnic, which celebrated Pride Month.

COMMACK, NY — A picnic in support of Pride Month and the Smithtown LGBTQ+ community was held on June 28 at Hoyt Farm, the Town of Smithtown announced. The event was sponsored by the Smithtown Anti-Bias Task Force and Smithtown Youth Bureau.
More than 200 residents attended the picnic. People enjoyed the farm's amenities, age-appropriate activities, face painting, glitter tattoos and musical entertainment. Partner organizations such as the Smithtown Library, the LGBT Network, Free Mom Hugs, and Keep It Kind Smithtown also took part in the festivities, with informational displays, swag giveaways and activities during the celebration.
Duck Donuts in Hauppauge donated food to the picnic, and Musicology Performance Center provided musical entertainment for the evening.
