Smithtown HS East Wrestler Wins County Championship

It marked the first county wrestling championship for TJ Visciano.

ST. JAMES, NY — TJ Visciano, a senior at Smithtown High School East, won his first county wrestling championship on Sunday, the school district announced.

Visciano, who is in the 131-pound class, defeated Patchouge-Medford's Joel Duchimaza. Smithtown High School East and High School West together have five wrestlers qualify for the state tournament later this month.
