SMITHTOWN, NY — Leah Treglia, a Smithtown High School West student, was named a News 12 Long Island/Bethpage Federal Credit Union Scholar Athlete, the school district announced.

Treglia was a member of the Smithtown/Hauppauge Swim-Dive team that won the state swimming championship in November.

She is set to be featured on News 12 on Tuesday for her success in the water and the classroom.
