- The St. James Farmers Market will gather the community looking forward to starting the new season supporting local vendors and enjoying family outdoor activities! If you want to shop and enjoy live music, the fun starts at 9 a.m. on June 3. The market opens on every Saturday through October at the St. James Lutheran Church parking lot. (Smithtown Patch Events)
- Attention parents and friends of children and teens with disabilities, the Smithtown Public Library offers unique programs and events for 'All Abilities.' - As May sails off, it's time to warm up for the 2023 Family Concerts in the neighborhood! The Long Beach Pavilion in St. James will be the stage where many local artists will rock free evening performances starting Friday, June 23. The Smithtown Gov. has the whole schedule and rain dates available. (Smithtown Gov.)
- Smithtown Department of Public Safety: "Looking for a fresh start this summer? Join our team as a part-time dispatcher! Graduation from standard high school or GED and typing abilities are required, relevant experience is preferred." (Smithtown Department of Public Safety via Facebook)
