2. Suffolk Legislator Trotta is hosting a Blood Drive at Travis Hall behind St. Joseph's Church in Kings Park. All are welcome to support the mission of saving lives on June 27 from 1 to 7 p.m. Donations will be distributed to blood banks on Long Island. (LongIsland.com)
3. Grateful Paw Cat Shelter will have a booth at the Kings Park Day Festival on Main Street! 4. Hooray for local hero teacher Richard Savicki who helped to save a man who suffered a cardiac arrest during an event in Port Jefferson. Savicki is a fourth-grade teacher at St. James Elementary School and performed CPR while first responders were on the way. (Smithtown Patch)
