  1. The Smithtown Public Library Tree Lighting is on Friday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. After the outdoor ceremony, refreshments and photos with Santa will be offered inside. So that you know, this event is free, and registration is not required to attend. (Smithtown Public Library)
