SMITHTOWN, NY — Dr. David Pincus, a leading plastic surgeon and founder of Pincus Plastic Surgery in Smithtown, launched the Pincus Plastic Surgery Future Plastic Surgeon Scholarship, he announced.
The $1,000 award is dedicated to supporting a Long Island student pursuing a career in plastic surgery. Pincus, a passionate advocate for education, created the scholarship to inspire and assist the next generation of skilled plastic surgeons.
The scholarship is open to high school seniors and college students on Long Island who have demonstrated a strong academic record and a commitment to entering the field of plastic surgery.

"College isn't getting any less expensive and I have great empathy for those who are pursuing a career in this field," Pincus said through a PR representative.
Applicants must submit a 500-word essay detailing their interest in plastic surgery, their career goals, and how they hope to contribute to the industry. The selected recipient will receive $1,000 to support their education as they embark on their journey into the medical field.
