Smithtown Police Blotter: 2 Sold Cocaine, Fentanyl

ALSO: A man stole from a Walmart he had previously been banned from entering, police say.

SMITHTOWN, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Smithtown area from Feb. 3 through Feb. 9.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

  • Feb. 7: Joseph Estrada, 52, of Central Islip, stole a car battery from Walmart, at 1850 Veterans Memorial Highway, Islandia, around 8:15 p.m. Feb. 7, police said. Estrada had previously been banned from the Walmart, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary: illegal entry with intent to commit a crime and petty larceny.
  • Feb. 6: Donail Campbell, 33, of Smithtown, sold crack cocaine and fentanyl on Old Nichols Road in Islandia around 4:45 p.m. Jan. 28, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug.
  • Feb. 6: Tersherra Greene, 35, of Smithtown, sold crack cocaine and fentanyl on Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove around 4:45 p.m. Sept. 30, police said. She was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: narcotic drug.

Incident

  • Feb. 9: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Clover Drive in Smithtown at 2:20 a.m. A vehicle was stolen from someone's driveway, police said.
