Smithtown Police Blotter: Man Found In Possession Of Crack Cocaine
ALSO: Car parts from three trucks stolen at dealership, police say.
SMITHTOWN, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Smithtown area from Jan. 27 through Feb. 2.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- Jan. 30: Leonel Mesa, 28, of Selden, was found in possession of cocaine on Alpine Lane in Lake Grove, police said. He was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug with intent to sell, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia: scales.
Incident
- Jan. 29: Grand larceny (third-degree) and auto stripping (first-degree) were reported at 9 p.m. on Smithtown Bypass in Smithtown. Someone stole car parts from three trucks in the parking lot of King O'Rourke Buick GMC, police said.
