Smithtown Police Blotter: Man Possessed Counterfeit Oxycodone Containing Fentanyl

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- Feb. 11: Chalil Jackson, 30, without a known address, was found in possession of counterfeit oxycodone containing fentanyl, police said. He was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance: narcotic drug with intent to sell and one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Incidents
- Feb. 13: Grand larceny (third-degree) and auto-stripping (third-degree) were reported on Smithtown Bypass in Smithtown at 10:46 a.m. Someone stripped a vehicle for parts at King O'Rourke Buick GMC between the overnight hours of Feb. 12 and Feb. 13, police said.
