  1. Commack teenager resident Joseph Barragato decorated his home on Wichards Boulevard to raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The presentation is named Winter Wonderland and will be displayed until Dec. 27. All are welcome. (LI News12)
  2. A Welcome Winter Walk will be hosted at the Sunken Meadow State Park on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. A tour guide will be on the post to lead participants through a nature walk through the park. Don't forgot to dress warmly. (Parks.NY)
  3. Sweetbriar Holiday Party for Wildlife fundraiser kicks off on Dec. 10, from noon to 3 p.m.! The center needs community support to keep up the excellent work of rescuing wild animals and giving them a permanent home. The beauty of the center is the children who are regular visitors.
