Smithtown Town Council Results: Republicans Cruise To Victory
Republican incumbents Tom Lohmann and Lisa Inzerillo defeated Democratic challengers Maria Scheuring and Sarah Tully.
SMITHTOWN, NY — Election Day 2023 has come and gone, as voters went to the polls on Tuesday. The unofficial results for Smithtown Town Council are in. Four candidates ran for two open seats. Incumbents Thomas Lohmann and Lisa Inzerillo were looking to defend their seats against Democratic challengers Maria Scheuring and Sarah Tully.
Here are the unofficial results from the Suffolk County Board of Elections, last updated at 10:26 a.m. 92 of 92 districts have reported results.
- Lisa Inzerillo (Republican): 16,147 votes
- Thomas Lohmann (Republican): 16,098 votes
- Sarah Tully (Democrat): 8,666 votes
- Maria Scheuring (Democrat): 8,559 votes
