Smithtown Varsity Team Shatters School Record

The varsity track team at Smithtown High School set a new school record during a recent meet.

The team set the record at the North Shore Invitational meet Dec. 26 at the Armory Track and Field Center in Upper Manhattan, according to a school news release.

Ethan Scully, John Barone, Chris Quilla and Tyler Scully ran 1:33.82 in the 4 x 200 meter relay, shattering the previous record of 1:34.1 set in 1997.
