St. James Elementary Holds Trunk Or Treat

ST. JAMES, NY — Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" was there. So were characters from "The Little Mermaid" and "The Addams Family."

The annual St. James Elementary PTA "Trunk or Treat" event was a huge hit on Thursday with many attending the event, which featured several activities. In addition to the amazing
"trunk decorations," scarecrows greeted students and families as they arrived at the school.

The scarecrows are a part of Red Ribbon Week and has been an annual tradition at St. James Elementary. This year, they were themed to match book characters from books the classes are reading as a part of the school's Y.E.S. program. The St. James Elementary Y.E.S. program teaches kids to think about taking care of themselves, each other and St. James.
