  4. Police are investigating a home fire on Straight Path in Dix Hills that claimed the life of a young Long Island entrepreneur. Commack Fire Department arrived at the scene around 2:53 a.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, a young woman who resided in the cottage died due to severe injuries during the incident. (Smithtown Matters)
