  1. Summer Concerts are back in Smithtown! Cold Spring Harbor Band will perform a tribute to Billy Joel on June 23 at Long Beach. This event is free entrance. All are welcome. The show starts at 7 p.m. at Long Beach Rd, Nissequogue. (Smithtown Gov.)
  2. Students and staff at the Kings Park High School threw a surprise retirement party for Long Island's long-time educator and principal, Neil Lederer. Lederer retired after 57 years serving school districts throughout Suffolk and Nassau County. (News 12 Long Island)
