1. The Smithtown Public Library announced the return of the 2023 Dennis Cannataro Summer Concert Series! The community is welcome to bring their blankets and chairs to enjoy the free musical entertainment that starts on July 6 at 7 p.m. Visit www.smithlib.org and check the full schedule of events. 2. The dock construction at the Kings Park Bluff is delayed due to an unpredictable error. Contractors are now working on the correct measurements and precautions to finish the work that will open the dock to the public. 4. Smithtown Senior Citizens can now apply for a low-cost medical alert service offered by the Senior Citizens Department. Eligible Smithtown residents who are 62 or older will be served with a one-button device that will trigger help provided by first responders if pressed.
