1. How about enjoying two hours of music at the Hoyt Farm Concert Series? Fleetwood Macked
   will hit the stage on Sunday, July 9, at 7 p.m. All event details are available on the Smithtown. Gov. website, which includes a friendly reminder for all attendees to make sure they "bring their feet!" (Smithtown Matters)
2. For those who want to take a break from the heat but still want to do a fun indoor activity, HSS Journal is hosting a free online writing workshop! 3. Suffolk Police released images of a male suspect they say punched a Wendy's restaurant employee in St. James. According to the accusation, he threw a food tray at the attendant and went behind the balcony where the physical assault occurred. Anyone with leads that may help the investigation is asked to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS or online at www.P3Tips.com. A cash reward is being offered. (Smithtown Patch)
4. The St. James Farmers Market is on this weekend! All are invited to come out on July 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Over 40 vendors will offer farm goodies and fun activities for all ages. In addition, live entertainment will rock the community every Saturday! The market location is at the St. James Lutheran Church, at 230 Second Ave., St. James. (Patch)
