'Sweat-A-Thon' Raises More Than $600 for Current Troops, Veterans
Hot yoga studio raises money for Long Island chapter of the U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club.

Smithtown Hot Yoga hosted its second "Sweat-A-Thon" on Saturday, raising more than $600 for the Long Island chapter of the U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club.
For the second "Sweat-A-Thon," 16 students completed the challenge, participating in three consecutive 90-minute hot yoga classes. Four more students completed the challenge during this event than in the first one held back in July 2011, Â Â
All proceeds from the event, which cost $10 to participate, were donated to the U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club, which will go towards the club's programs to help local veterans and current U.S. troops.
