WATCH: Smithtown Participates in 'Harlem Shake' Trend

By now you've either heard of these "Harlem Shake" videos being made or have seen quite a few, and whether or not you love or hate the trend, some Smithtown folks have taken to YouTube with their own renditions.

The song, created by deejay and producer Baauer – who ironically isn't actually from Harlem, NY, but did live there for a short period of time – created the song "Harlem Shake" in 2012. Since the song's release a myriad of videos of people dancing to the record have popped-up, from the Miami Heat's version to people dancing in their living rooms, at their office and more.

Both a group of students from Smithtown High School West and a group of adults in their living room both debuted their video one week ago. You can check both videos out here.
