WATCH: Tiger Schulmann’s Awards First Black Belt in 4 Years
With goals of one day becoming an instructor, a 17-year-old training since 2001 earns his black belt.
Tiger Schulmann’s Mixed Martial Arts in Smithtown awarded its first black belt in four years Saturday.
17-year-old Dylan Cintron received the black belt for his achievements in the multidisciplinary martial arts school, located at 10 Miller Place in Smithtown. Cintron practices both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai Kickboxing.
Cintron accomplished getting his black belt by graduating from high school early in January to become an apprentice of Sensei James Leonelli and pursue a career as an instructor. Cintron trains with professional fighters from both Bellator Mixed Martial Arts and UFC.
