Dog in Need of a Home, Studio Art for Kids on This Rainy Thursday

Good morning, Southampton. Here’s a look at Thursday.

- Brendan O'Reilly, the Local Editor for Southampton Patch, is back in the saddle after a much deserved vacation. Welcome back, Brendan.

- Patch reader Rich Morey posted about a dog that he rescued who is in need of a home. Bo is approximately two years old, neutered and has all of his shots. If you are interested in adopting Bo, call 646-246-9423.

- Looking for something to do with the kids? KIDS @Southampton Center and Goat on a Boat Puppet Theatre will present an outdoor weekly puppet making workshops for kids age 3 and up. at 4 p.m.

- Outdoor activities may not go as planned. Weather.com is predicting an 50 percent chance of rain.

- Looking for something to do with the kids indoors? Check out a new business in Water Mill. Studio Art offers art and craft projects to children, typically 4 to 14. Parents can even drop kids off for a short period of time.

- We know, the weather hasn't been great this week. One of our colleagues, Lon Cohen, snapped some dramatic photos in Southampton before the rain hit on Tuesday night. Check them out if you have a moment.
