Board Will Discuss Budget on Thursday Morning

Good morning, Southampton.

— The Southampton Town Board meets at Town Hall at 10 a.m., and there will be a discussion of the proposed 2014 budget. 

— Do you ride your bike to the train station in Bridgehampton? If you do, consider getting a storage locker. Southampton Town is renting out a storage locker their for bicycles. It's $60 per year. 

— If you're looking for something to do this weekend, check our Weekend Agenda for events happening on the South Fork.

— Looking ahead, Little Lucy's in Southampton has scheduled its annual Halloween pet parade to benefit the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation on Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. Participants meet at 91 Jobs Lane. Registration fee is $10 per dog.

— Also, vendors are needed for the third annual Holiday Market hosted by Pierson Middle/High School PTA on Nov. 30 in the high school gym in Sag Harbor. If you want to take part, contact Cheryl Bedini at 631-745-9981 or email
