DWI Charge Follows Bridgehampton Crash
No injuries were reported after Friday evening accident.
Southampto Town police said a driver was arrested on a drunken driving charge after a two-car accident in Bridgehampton on Friday evening.
Luis Tuba, 41, of Bridgehampto, was arrested at about 6:30 p.m., after the accident on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, near Narrow Lane. No injuries were reported.
Police also said Tuba was driving with a suspended license. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.
Tuba was released after posting $1,700 bail, police said.
