Flanders Man Charged With Felony DWI After Hitting 2 Parked Cars: PD
He was also charged with circumventing an interlock device, police say.
FLANDERS, NY — A Flanders man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after hitting two unoccupied, parked cars Sunday night, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the incident took place at about 8:14 p.m.; a call came in about a motorist hitting the cars on Albany Avenue by Groves Road in Flanders, police said.
Luis Patzan-Ajvix, 24, was found to have been driving while intoxicated; no injuries were reported, police said.

He was arrested, brought to Southampton Town police headquarters for arrest processing, and charged with two counts of felony DWI; aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor; circumventing an interlock device, a misdemeanor; and other vehicle and traffic law violations, police said.
He was held overnight to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court for morning arraignment, police said.
