Free Brain Scans Available in Bridgehampton Through Thursday

A mobile MRI is available to conduct free brain scans at the Bridgehampton Commons. 

The Brain Tumor Foundation's Mobile MRI Unit staged Friday at the Commons, off Montauk Highway, to kick-off an early detection campaign. It will be available until Aug. 29, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Those who wish to make an appointment can call 877-SCAN-NYC. 

Restaurateur and financier Jeffrey Chodorow and the Chodorow family sponsored the unit in Bridgehampton.                                   

The Brain Tumor Foundation, a not-for-profit national organization based in New York City, provides brain tumor patients and their caregivers support services.
