Gwyneth Paltrow Donates Kiss From Ex Chris Martin, Tickets To His Amagansett Show At Charity Auction

A kiss from Coldplay's Chris Martin sparked a bidding war at a breast cancer research charity auction Saturday.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A kiss from Coldplay's Chris Martin is worth a whopping $30,000.

That's what Gwyneth Paltrow learned Saturday, when, while hosting the Hamptons Paddle & Party For Pink 2016 event on Saturday, she offered up a smooth from her ex — Martin was in East Hampton for Sunday night's Coldplay performance — to jumpstart the bidding during a live auction.

To amp up the auction bidding at the party, Paltrow donated her pair of coveted tickets to ex Chris Martin’s “secret” SiriumXM Coldplay concert in Amagansett.

She announced her surprise donation to the crowd by saying she was adding her "two tickets to my consciously uncoupled husband’s show at the Talkhouse.”

Joined by business partner Tracy Anderson, who had physically paddled her heart out earlier in the day with her son during the fundraiser, the duo cajoled the crowd to bid higher.

When bidding for the tickets stalled at $25,000, Paltrow threw in “a kiss on the lips” from Chris Martin to the prize, and the bidding hit a high of $55,000.

The fundraiser, which included live music sets by CHIC featuring Nile Rodgers and Brendan Fallis, and a live charity auction at Fairview on Mecox Bay in Bridgehampton, was hosted by Maria and Larry Baum, who earlier in the day headed the paddle board portion of the two-part charity event.

Party attendees included Molly Sims, Rachel Zoe, Monique Lhullier, Nicole Miller, Katie Lee, David Yurman and Alex Guarnaschelli, and the two-part event raised more than $1.75 million for the BCRF.

On Sunday Paltrow, with their two kid, Apple and Moses, was still able to attend the Coldplay concert and spend some time with Martin on Main Street before the show, but they parted after the performance. Later that night, Martin was spotted riding his bike alone, with a crowd of fans sprinting behind him.
