Here are the top stories today in Southampton:
- The East End Beacon has details on the new South Fork wind project. Work on the 12-turbine offshore wind farm, which will be 35 miles east of Montauk, will begin in January of 2022, and completed and operational by the end of 2023. South Fork Wind explained the project at a virtual open house on Monday. (East End Beacon)
- Lisa Finn reports that the Southampton Town Housing Authority and Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk will raze a dilapidated, abandoned, and unsafe house on Old Quogue Road in Riverside and build two new homes. Demolition will be Monday at 11:30 a.m. at 73 Old Quogue Road, and the lot, along with next door 69 Old Quogue Road, will be the sites of two new homes to be given to families in need. (Patch)
- Lisa Finn reports that Marta Esmerelda Ramirez-Carbajal, 20, was stabbed to death by her girlfriend, Karen Abigail Delacruz-Reyes, 21. It happened on East Main Street in Riverhead on Thursday night. (Patch)
- The Westhampton Beach teen who was reported missing on Nov. 7, Lesli Roxana Morales Suy, has been found unharmed. (Patch)
