Pickup Stolen From Hamptons Driveway Found Disabled On Roadside: PD

The pickup was found in Riverhead and a credit card was missing, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A pickup truck reported stolen from a Southampton driveway was found disabled on the side of the road in Riverhead, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, on Saturday, a call came in from a North Sea Road resident about a white 2019 Toyota Tundra pick-up truck that had been in the driveway when the woman left the home on Friday, October 18 — and was missing when she returned on Saturday. She further reported that she was also missing a credit card, police said.

On Tuesday, the vehicle was located in Riverhead, disabled on the side of the road, police said.

Cody Ryan, 18, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny third-degree grand larceny, and second-degree burglary, police said.

He was processed and arraigned in Southampton Town Justice Court, then remanded to the Suffolk County Correctional Facility, police said.
