Rollover Crash On County Road 39 Slows Traffic Wednesday: FD
Injuries were minor, fire officials say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A rollover crash on County Road 39 in Southampton slowed traffic Wednesday morning, officials said.
According to Chris Brenner, public information officer with the Southampton Fire Department, a call came in at 8:44 a.m. about a crash just east of Sandy Hollow Road in the westbound lane. Officials arrived at the scene to find a vehicle on its side, Brenner said.
Southampton Fire Department Chief Manny Escobar was the chief in charge at the scene.

Westbound traffic was diverted at North Sea Road; eastbound traffic was able to proceed slowly.
Minor injuries were reported in the crash, Brenner said; Southampton Volunteer Ambulance transported the injured to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.

Traffic was moving slowly after the crash, he added.
