  1. The Southampton Press checks out a history-making concert at Hampton Synagogue in Westhampton Beach. Last Saturday an all-female cantorial concert of Laurie Akers, Magda Fishman, Rachel Goldman and Rachel Brook brought a standing-room only crowd. (27east.com)
  2. Lisa Finn has the story on a Southampton woman who was arrested after she was found intoxicated in her vehicle at a Hampton Bays gas station Tuesday. Olga Solomatina, 41, of Southampton, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. (Patch)
  3. The Daily Voice reports that East Hampton Village and the Town of East Hampton will not permit the retail sale of marijuana within their jurisdictions. (Daily Voice)
  4. Lisa Finn previews this Friday's lighting of the historic windmill at Stony Brook Southampton. The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the student center cafeteria with refreshments, music, an alumni-sponsored photo booth, guided windmill tours and crafts for kids. (Patch)
