🌱 Wind Farm Gets An Approval + SH Ambulance's New Barn

The offshore wind farm that's slated to be built off Montauk Point has gotten an approval and is closer to being built. Southampton Town approved contracts to build a $3.5 million barn for the volunteer ambulance company.

- South Fork Wind, New York's first offshore wind farm, has announced it received its Record of Decision from the U.S. Department of the Interior, successfully reaching a critical milestone in the federal environmental review, a step toward full approval.
